Contributions shall not exceed 20 minutes. Contributions dealing with any of the above thematic panels are welcomed, particularly those that deal with the study of:

• Terminology and specific languages.
• Lexicology and contrastive phraseology.
• Translation and interpreting in specialized contexts.
• Didactics of translation and interpreting.
• Dissemination of scientific knowledge.
• Labour market and translation. Translation as a business.
• Research on translation and interpreting.
• Specialized languages, terminology.
• Audiovisual and multimodal translation.
• Technologies, translation and interpreting.

Contributions may be submitted in English, French, German, Italian or Spanish.

PARTICIPATION

There are two forms of participation in the congress:

• Onsite participation (University of Innsbruck, Austria)
• Online participation

VERY IMPORTANT: Speakers shall only participate in one of the modalities (either onsite or online), as each speaker is only expected to participate with just one contribution.

PROPOSAL SUBMISSION

To participate as a speaker at the Congress, interested persons must send before 15th January 2025 the title of their proposal, an abstract in English and another in the language of presentation of the work, no longer than 10 lines, accompanied by the corresponding keywords (at least five) to the e-mail address mcbalbuena@uco.es with the following form.

Together with the proposal, the modality of participation must be indicated. If this is not the case, the organisation will consider that the presentation will be made online. 

The Organizing Committee will confirm the acceptance or rejection of the proposals received before 30th January 2025. Following the acceptance, the bank details for the payment will be specified in a subsequent informative notice
